Horace Rounds, "Feudal England," pp.218, 219, 255. His younger brother, RALPH, appears to have gone into Wilts, for in the survey in connection with the ransom of King Richard I (6 Rich. I) Ralhp de Pynkeni is mentioned as "holding land in Somerford Maltravers (Broad Somerford)" "Abbreviatio Placitorum," p.13.
